The current research paper aims to explore apology actions of politeness in teacher-student interactions academic settings. In the study, researchers attempted make use discursive approach as a post-modern view politeness. Eelen (2001), Mills (2003), and Watts (2005) were launched noticeable criticism against Brown Levinson proposed approach. present study has utilized qualitative method. It enabled collect detailed data on participants' experiences, which could be analyzed using interpretive methods identify key themes patterns. results show that there is interactions, particular serve particularly meaningful manifestation within interactions. Moreover, various aspects related such cultural influences norms, role power dynamics shaping behaviors should taken into consideration
